Not everyone needs a full garden design which incorporates all elements. Sometimes you just need that little bit of advice to make your garden come to life. My ‘A Day in Your Garden’ package gives you exactly this- expert advice for exactly the things you need help with. Whether planting, design questions or getting an idea for your space- this fun explorative session aims to help you turn your garden from boring to beautiful.
How does it work?
This package is a fun and explorative session which is based around exactly what you need from the design side. I will come to your garden and meet you for a one-on-one session which brings you valuable hands on advice and expert garden knowledge on the day without having to commit to the full garden design package. This is perfect for people who want to dream up planting schemes, re-develop a patio area or simply plan a new layout in their garden.
The idea is to create a design based totally on your ideas and dreams in a fun and personal one-on-one session on the day. The beautiful vouchers also make a perfect gift!
I currently offer two options for the ‘A Day in Your Garden’ package: ‘Custom planting design’ and ‘Custom Patio/deck development but am happy to take enquiries to address any other particular areas also.
Option 1.
◦ Custom Planting Design
This session will look at developing a new scheme for your space (taking into account that there may be existing plants) and creating something really special and personalized for you. I welcome any questions and will give specific advice on whatever is needed the topic of garden planting and planting design. On the day we will explore planting styles, garden precedents and your own dreams for the garden. This will form the basis for the planting concept and plan we create.
After the time we spend in your garden (typically 2-4 hours) you will be provided with a personalised package in the following week which is based on your unique requirements.
An example may include:
-a concept planting brief for the planting unique to you
– a sketch planting plan for the garden
– a planting schedule (order list) which you can then use to order plants.
Option 2.
◦ Custom Patio/Deck development
This session looks at designing a decking area or outdoor patio which reflects your lifestyle and dreams for the space. Whether you want to create an area where you can dine and entertain outside or simply create a connection between the inside and outside of your home, I welcome any questions and will give specific advice on whatever is needed the topic of decking, material choices, outdoor kitchen ideas as well as location and layout. On the day we will explore materials, styles, creating atmosphere, accessories all based on your own dreams for the garden and teamed with my extensive knowledge in the area. This will form the basis for the sketch plan and accessory mood board we create.
After the time we spend in your garden (typically 2-4 hours) you will be provided with a personalised package in the following week which is based on your unique requirements.
-a concept brief for the area unique to you
– a sketch planting plan for the garden area in question
– an accessories and materials board showing you how you can make the most of the space.
